Truth or Novocain?
They simply don't mix!

 Guy Adams

I read Bob Knight's essay called Bait and Switch at (http://www.CWFA.org/articles/10960/CFI/family/index.htm). It is hard-hitting, timely and appropriate. If you haven't read it or any of his other stuff, I suggest you do.

Sometimes we just need to call things as they are, and truth cannot be adequately delivered while we are under anesthesia. Truth and Novocain just do not mix. Republicans are currently holding back the truth and Democrats want to deliver the Novocain so that when truth comes, and it will, you'll be numb to it. Mark my words, in fact, read them below...

Bob Knight underscores the notion that Truth cannot be delivered with Novocain. Truth usually hurts, and if this notion is true, and it is, then Liberals must now be reeling from the pain.

I said something in an earlier article that Alan Colmes is evil. I later mitigated it to something like Alan Colmes seems to support evil. I think I eventually asked our editor to remove the sentence David Limbaugh told me that he thinks that Alan "has a good heart." Maybe so, but, in any case, since I said it publicly, I want to apologize publicly. Alan, I'm sincerely sorry. That was wrong of me to attack you by saying you are evil.

Having said that, I still feel as strongly as ever, if not stronger, about the major issues confronting Christian and conservative America today. And it does appear Alan that you are on the wrong side on many of them.

The Buck Still Stops Here?

Liberals and many Democrats apparently want us to loose in Iraq. That's traitorous and unpatriotic. See my piece "Are Democrats Unpatriotic?." I think many are. John Kerry continues to flip-flop and reverse his position on the war and other issues, just like Hillary. Rather than elect her as president, we should pillory Hillary instead. Never vote for either of these two people again. Yet every now and then you have a Zell Miller, Truman, JFK or FDR, brave politicians who go against the grain and act on basis of principle and not just for votes. The marriage amendment recently failed in the Senate, yet to Democratic heroes like Robert Byrd (D-WV) and Ben Nelson (D-NE), who both bucked the donkey and voted for the marriage amendment. I tip my hat to them.

You don't often hear people use the word "evil" very much these days. It's as if we're afraid of it, as if the politically correctness police will come and take us away. One day they might if we fail to speak out now. The Silent Majority can no longer afford to be silent.

And so you have men like Dr. Alan Keyes. Alan spent 11 years with the U.S. State Department and served in the U.S. Foreign Service and on the staff of the National Security Council, before becoming President Ronald Reagan's ambassador to the United Nations Economic and Social Council, where he represented the vital interests of the United States in the U.N. General Assembly (1983-85). In 1985, he was appointed Assistant Secretary of State for International Organizations (1985-88). What a resume! I do not elevate the man above what God has appointed him to be, but I respect his anointed position as the de facto spokesperson for the more conservative cause. I first met Alan when I was asked to be his part-time bodyguard in the 2004 Illinois Senatorial elections. That was a singular honor. Following that, I saw the guy take hit after hit as Illinois 'Republicans' slammed this good, decent and brave man, for his up-front Christian morality; which I might add, is the very same morality that America was founded on. They even left his name off of the sample ballot. This was done by 'republicans,' small 'r.' Yet Dr. Keyes refuses to let evil win the day, and at the end of the day, as he is fond of saying, he's still standing, and so shall all of you if you stand up to evil. I am standing with him. How about you?

If you want to find out if America was really founded on CHRISTIAN principles — which thereby implies that the Liberals and many Democrats have been lying to you — read David Gibbs outstanding pocket book One Nation Under God. You'll get the truth, which the ACLU has been lying to you about for decades.

What I like about Keyes, Knight and others like them, is that they call it like it is. Don't call a mule an elephant and expect us to believe it. Maybe that explains the inaction of most Republicans after six long years of doing nothing. Steve Voigt calls them Democrats in GOP clothing. Let's axe both the Democratic and Republican parties and start all over.

What 'Rights'?

To the Liberals, I proclaim: Don't say there is a "right to privacy" in the Constitution (there is not!) and expect us to go along with the lie that this nonexistent 'right' justifies the murder of over forty-five million babies in the name of pro-choice; it's really pro-death. A friend of mine recently said that he thought that there might have been somewhere between 900-1,000 Democratic legislators at the national level, since Roe v. Wade. So here's a thought: That amounts to roughly 45,000 dead babies per Democratic legislator. Have a good day.

Don't tell us that you've just discovered an new constitutional right to sodomy. And this new right was ruled Constitutional by a 6-3 majority. Six to three? What is wrong with our Supreme Court? There's nothing "supreme" about them. They put their pants on the same way as you ands I do. Insanity rules the day, where once logic and good sense did.

Don't even begin to tell me that there is some new and yet to be discovered 'right' to homosexual marriage. But unless history (and you!) proves us wrong, some liberal lunatic will find one somewhere, like Roe v Wade on the far side of the moon.

Please do not claim to support our troops yet slander our president in a time of war. We long ago had our own time of great travail when our nation was formed in a time of great conflict and questioning, yet we seemingly have no compassion for the individual Iraqi who wants to be free now? What has happened to our sense of charity for all?

I have little to no respect for any legislator (like John Murtha) who wants to cut and run. I keep hearing that John Murtha is a "war hero." Really? Just how was he a war hero? Spending a few months in Vietnam in administration, well behind the front lines, does not qualify him to be a war hero — so stop claming him to be a war hero. It's disingenuous. The Left's intense hatred of President Bush blinds them with rage.

And don't invent a "wall of separation of church and state" and then expect us to continue to go along with the liberal Democratic program of legislating all references to God out of our classrooms, courts, schools, universities and community squares. Enough is enough! We're not going to stand for it anymore. We've heard about this mythical separation so often that we tend to actually think it's in our Constitution! It is not! If you tend to think that most liberal Democrats are well-meaning, but just have different viewpoints, consider what Joseph Goebbels meant when he correctly said:

"If you repeat a lie long enough, people will believe it."

Then there's the 'lie' that illegal immigrants are doing the work that Americans just won't do and that we therefore "need" them. Hogwash! We don't need them or the immense economic burden that they're putting on the American economy. They're not contributing anything to America, except maybe to the bank accounts of the many newly hired Border Patrol agents. In fact illegal immigrants are taking much more than they give. They violate the term that our president has made more famous, Quid pro quo. In reality, most illegal immigrants take something in exchange for nothing. Just visit the emergency rooms in most southern states. I wholeheartedly support President Bush (a man's man!), whom I believe to be sincere, but on this whole illegal immigration thing, he's only recently, and not soon enough, gotten on board. Build a fence, make it high, and ship any illegal immigrants you happen to find, out. Pronto. Rαpidamente

So do not be deceived into thinking that the 12-15 million illegal immigrants deserve what basically amounts to amnesty. They do not. America is galvanized over this all-consuming issue and simply won't stand for it despite what you might hear in the skewed liberal media.

What does the word "liberal" mean anyway? According to www.Dictionary.com, it first and foremost means:

1.                  Not limited to or by established, traditional, orthodox, or authoritarian attitudes, views, or dogmas; free from bigotry.

2.                  Favoring proposals for reform, open to new ideas for progress, and tolerant of the ideas and behavior of others; broad-minded.

Who could intelligently argue against those lofty attributes? "Free from bigotry" — is that a good or bad thing? Of course it's a good thing, but should it be enshrined and codified into law? Absolutely not, because to do so would be to outlaw thought, not just speech. How about "Open to new ideas for progress"; is that detrimental to American society? No, as long as it does not invalidate the properly established concepts of natural law as it relates to God's Word. We have long ago abandoned God's concepts as they refer to American law. This has mostly been accomplished through liberal activist courts, not through the wishes of We the People. We should be outraged. The Supreme and federal courts should have been Constitutionally reigned in through the lawful purview of Congress, but they have demurred in the interest of votes. When courage called, they retreated. Retaining their seat at the table is apparently more important than upholding traditional values and two thousand years of Judeo-Christian morality. What's the remedy? VOTE THEM OUT OF OFFICE! The relief? They will respond the age-old maxim that 'the squeaky wheel gets the grease.'

Be heard! Pick up your phones and pens!

Americans have historically embraced the 'outlaw' mentality. This position (bucking authority) is not usually a good thing, but some progress has come from it. For example, consider our own Revolution. Without this healthy questioning of authority, we'd still be under the heavy-handed jurisdiction of King George III. And what about the Civil War or the Declaration of Independence? Where would we be without our Constitution or the Bill of Rights? And what about the more recent Civil Rights struggle? All have been birthed from a healthy questioning of authority. But to give carte blanch to the twisted and morphed version of what has come to be recently understood to be the religion of Liberalism, is to actually deny, refute and hinder, that which was once noble and honorable — now lost in the clamor for all sorts of twisted and unnatural 'rights.' How far the mighty have fallen.

Know this: there are many more like me out there. We will not let America fall without a fight. I believe we will win the day.

And so, is Ann Coulter right?

Don't know. But in her new book Godless, Ann Coulter calls Liberals — and by association and practice — most Democrats, "Godless." Is she right? Most Liberals claim to be "Christians" then they vote for homosexuality or abortion, or other harmful legislation. But then again, the Bible does say the "In the end days many will depart from the faith." Take Barack Obama for example. I've heard him repeatedly call himself a Christian yet he voted for, and in some cases, even sponsored bills promoting abortion. Check for yourself. He failed to support the ban on live-birth abortions! [see Illinois SB's 1661, 1662, 1663], and also partial-birth abortions [see HB 382]. He also failed to protect children from pornography. The Internet filter amendment was attached to the original bill, HB 1812. This vote was for an amendment requiring schools to block children's access to illegal porn, defined by state law as "...child porn, obscenity and harmful materials." It passed in the Senate (Obama voted NO!) and went onto the House where it failed. About this type of duplicity, Democratic Senator Zell Miller insightfully said at the 2004 Republican National Convention:

Campaign talk tells people who you want them to think you are,

How you vote tells people who you really are deep inside.

When they vote for the murder of millions and millions of unborn human beings, your are Godless, so do not claim to be a "Christian" — because you are lying. If you vote for a legislator who supports abortion then you too, will be held to account for it. If you as a legislator, sponsor abortion, you are not a Christian because God says that you cannot continue to murder and be a follower of His. However, they do have their own peculiar religion with abortion being its holiest sacrament. If you voted for a Democrat who sponsored abortion, then just how many of those dead infants should be actually laid on your doorstep? Imagine that. Your neighbor would shrink away from your presence in horror because he or she would know the horrible truth of it — that you are a murderer. Doubt me? What I'm saying is too strong, too over the top, you say? Go to http://www.mttu.com/abort-pics/ and scroll down until you see "Abortion Videos," and then click on "The Hard Truth." If you are for abortion, you'll have your mind changed in the short six minutes it takes to watch that first abortion video. They're not fuzzy or taken from a grainy ultra-sound. Democrats are the party of Death, the party of the axe. They're the real thing, captured on crystal clear video. If you've ever wanted to watch an execution, here's your chance.

The party of the Phallus

Our elected Senators had a one of a kind chance to protect the country from same-sex marriage by a Constitutional amendment and they failed us. They betrayed our charge. If you as a legislator, support homosexuality or same-sex marriage (or if you continue to practice it), I also doubt your Christianity, because God calls it an "abomination." It would be like seeing a pastor brought a statue of a Buddha into your church and expecting the congregation to seriously listen to him. Homosexuality is like that Buddha — it's genital worship, pure and simple, and Democrats are part and parcel to it. They're the party of the Phallus.

For the truth about homosexuality, see the homosexual fact sheet at: http://www.pathlights.com/Public%20Enemies/Homo-sheet.htm

Spineless politicians like Ted Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi and John Murtha, who embolden the enemy by their beyond the pale criticism of our president in a time of war(!) is appalling and they should be charged with treason and shot.

Then there's John McCain. DO NOT VOTE FOR THIS MAN! He betrayed the good people of Arizona by voting against the marriage amendment. I have always hesitated to harshly criticize him because of his brave service and earlier sacrifice to his country, but like Cindy Sheahan, he has gone too far for too long.

The American church is not in much better shape, and the Church in Europe is far worse. We see too many spineless pastors who REFUSE to confront evil, and in many cases, like the Presbyterian Church USA, actually endorsing it by giving the finger to God by endorsing 'gay priests.' Please, don't call yourself a Christian because you're a phony. If God Himself calls it an abomination and you call it a blessing, please, become a Muslim terrorist, because that's how far away you are from Heaven. Christ called such people vipers. They're like the white-wash covering up a rotten fence. Eventually the rot will surface, and that's what we're seeing with the glorification of homosexuality and the Liberal proclivity for murdering babies. Time Magazine had an issue about a potential "God gene." Well, could there be an evil gene, and do many Democrats have it? Or if you have that evil gene, do you tend to become a liberal democrat?

Time Magazine had an issue about a potential "God gene." Well, could there be an evil gene, and do Liberals have it? Or if you happen to have that evil gene, do you tend to become a liberal Democrat?

After pointing at the ills of others, am I perfect? No. God convicts me of my imperfections all the time. Some I have a harder time correcting than others. However, I don't wink at my sin. I pray and plead for His divine help. If we call all sin the same, then we'd just as soon wink at stealing some bubble gum as we would at murder, but that's exactly where we're at today in America by falling all over each in our insane desire to call same-sex relationships "marriage." And in our national passion to murder unborn babies, we're forgotten that they are just like every one of us was once: small, innocent and utterly defenseless. Baseball is not our "national past-time," abortion is, and we should be horribly ashamed of ourselves.

When we diminish the severity of certain sins we fail our brothers and sisters who need to know the truth. And when we legislated God out of our classrooms (and all areas of public venue), we fail to educate our fellow man. We have withheld the truth from them. I heard Dr. Keyes perceptively say once that "Although it may have looked like help at the time, but we were only helping to help ourselves out of the only thing that could actually help us!"

And I don't subscribe to the pernicious doctrine that I've heard in churches that tends to marginalize serious wrongdoing by claiming that 'all sin is the same to God' Nonsense! Abortion is far worse than stealing or else we make God out to be a fool. Why doesn't God call stealing a candy bar an "abomination" as He calls homosexuality? You see, we've made the Almighty out to be some kind of ignorant celestial Barney Fife type policeman. He's not and He has a very big gun, so to speak. His withholding of judgment on America for abortion, homosexuality and other evils does not mean that it's not coming if we don't change our wicked ways. How can we expect God to bless our war on terror when we continue to murder thousands of unborn babies every day? In a loose sense then, we put our brave and honorable soldiers at risk with every baby we murder. Abortion is a wicked and accursed act, and like Keyes and Knight routinely do better than I do, I'm merely calling it for what it is — evil, plain and simple. Is everyone who supports these things evil? I can't say, but I seriously question their morality and/or their religion.

And speaking of the war on terror, if you watch that abortion video, you'll see an abortionist (I can't call them doctors) pull the limbs off of one poor soul, one limb at a time, and that baby was very much alive and in pain. Can you imagine the terror it must feel? It's not like putting a live lobster into a pot of boiling water; this is a live human being. Imagine getting your limbs slowly ripped off, one by one, while you are conscious and aware. It's an awful thought, isn't it. We don't burn people at the stake anymore because the Constitution appropriately has a prohibition against cruel and unusual punishment. And when we perform saline abortion on live unborn human beings, we're burning them alive. We're scalding the insides of their tiny little lungs. God forgive us. So if you are not willing to undergo these procedures yourself, then why subject the unborn to it? The war on terror we should also be fighting is a war on the terror that the 3,700 babies each day must feel. Why didn't Clinton say to them "I feel your pain"? Because like the other leading liberal Democrats, they used their own Novocain.

In a recent email, Dr. Keyes said something very perceptive. He said "If good fails, it should be despite my maximum effort and if evil triumphs, it should be without my aid."

That energized me immensely and it should energize you as well. If you are similarly energized, pick up your phones and pens and let your legislators, at every level, know how you feel!

Sincerely,

Guy Adams
